Renal Cyst | Renal Cortical Cyst | Parapelvic cyst
Liver: Normal in size. Hepatic parenchymal echotexture is uniform all-over. No focal hyper or hypo-echoic lesion is seen in the liver.
Intrahepatic portion of IVC is normal. Portal vein is normal. Porta-hepatis is normal.
Gall bladder: Normal in size and contour. Wall thickness is within normal limit. No Evidence of echogenic structures or biliary sludge is seen within the gallbladder.
Intrahepatic biliary radicals and common ducts are not dilated. Internal diameter of CBD and that of portal vein are within normal limit.
Pancreas: Is normal in size and shape. Parenchyma shows normal echotexture. Main Pancreatic duct not dilated.
Spleen: Is normal in size. It is uniform in echotexture. No focal lesion is seen in the spleen.
Kidneys: Both Kidneys are normal in position, shape and size. Bipolar length Right kidney 9.8cm and Left kidney 9.0cm.
Cortico-medullary differentiation is normal in both kidneys with normal cortical echogenity.
Echogenic renal sinuses are normal on both sides. No evidence of hydronephrosis, mass lesion or calculus is seen on either side.
Ureters are not dilated.
A fairly large cystic mass is noted in the right anterior cortex (exophytic) measuring 6.7cm.
Urinary bladder: Normal in outline. No wall thickening seen. No demonstrable intravesical lesion is seen.
Comment: Right renal cortical cyst otherwise normal Ultrasound finding at the moment
Case 2
Rt kidney: Normal in size, regular in shape with smooth outline. Bipolar length 9.52 cm. Cortex & medulla are well differentiated. Central echo-complex is echogenic and normal. No evidence of any focal/diffuse lesion or calculus is detected.
There is a small cyst in the ant cortex (exophytic ) measuring 1.91 cm.
Lt Kidney: Normal in size, regular in shape with smooth outline. Bipolar length 7.57 cm. Central echo-complex is echogenic and normal. No evidence of any diffuse lesion or calculus is detected.
There is a large cystic area seen the proximal ureteric region measuring 6.51 cm.
Ureter: No abnormality could be detected in either of the ureter.
Urinary Bladder: Well filled with smooth outline. Wall thickness is within normal limit. No intravesical lesion or calculus is detected.
COMMENT: Present ultrasound finding suggestive of small ant cortical cyst right kidney ( 1.91 cm ) and a large cystic mass in the left renal pelvis. ( 6.51 cm ).
