GRAHAM FOSTER is set to reveal his tragic past to Debbie Dingle in an upcoming episode of Emmerdale.

Emmerdale baddie Graham Foster will finally share his story and connection to Joe Tate (played by Ned Porteous) to nemesis Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb).

The associate of businessman Joe is set open up to the young mum in an unexpected turn of events.

For months, ITV viewers have watched Graham stand in Joe’s shadow as he destroyed the Dingle family.

Now, it will appear that there is more to the fearsome foe as he is hiding a dark past from those around him.

Debbie’s deep hatred for Joe returned when he tried to blackmail her into being with him after he found out she was responsible for Ross Barton’s (Michael Parr) acid attack.

Despite, Graham telling Joe to move on from Debbie, he is still hell bent on harassing her and instructs Graham to deliver a message to her.

Graham is told to tell Debbie that Joe wants to rent her Jacob’s Fold and insists there is no ulterior motive to his request.

The quiet character even goes as far as to urge her to give him another chance before opening up to her about his own past.

Andrew Scarborough, who plays Graham, said: “It certainly makes Debbie think. Graham’s past is a tragic one – this is a man who is carrying around a lot.”

He went on to tell Metro.co.uk: “It is now becoming obvious to the audience that Graham has been involved in traumatic scenes before.

“And he is trained in how to look after someone else should they have something bad happen to them. And he has been trained to be very calm in these situations."

Explaining further, he added: “All of his training is to be revealed later on. He would win in a fight.

“He is very strategic and aware of what is going on the whole time. I know he can seem like a ghost sometimes but there is logic to why he is there.”

As for Debbie, what will she do with the information? Will she accept it or use it for her own personal gain?

And will Graham come clean to Joe also? Or continue to suffer in silence?
