These Fortification Agates are CRAZY! On the Hunt for Black Hills Teepee Canyon Agates!

In this one, we continue our South Dakota adventure by heading over to one of my favorite sites on the planet: Teepee Canyon! These agates are widely renowned for their wonderful red, pink, white, and orange fortification banding that greatly resemble Fairburn agates! We got into some truly phenomenal specimens, including one monster agate that was definitely unexpected, but we also got into some very interesting chert and even some awesome brachiopods! Make sure to be on the lookout for another video coming very soon in which we will be cutting a BUNCH of our finds from the trip, including many Teepee Canyon agates and hopefully our two monsters if ‪@MontanaRockMom‬ is up for hanging out with us! We have one more hunt to go in this trip so look forward to that as well, and I hope you enjoyed!
