360 camera with Yaw axis

This is a test of the gimbal for PRO heavy 360 cameras.

We tested a 5KG dummy weight with an attached Qoocam8K camera. So, it will easily handle Insta #Titan, #Meta3, or even #KandaoPro 360 cameras.

Together with Jan Kubanski, we did a lot of tests with different pole lengths and different gimbal settings and came to the conclusion that with a weight of 5kg, the ideal distance from the drone to the camera lenses is about 80cm. When the pole was longer, the drone with standard PID settings behaved very badly and a strong pendulum effect appeared. And only with such a long pole, the drone flew very stably.

I have an invention to remove this pendulum effect and use a pole of almost any length, but its use is not yet ready for mass production. Here is a sample how it works:    • #ShramkoVR gimbal for a 360 cameras o...   - this prototype is well serviced and tuned so far only by myself.

In this short pole modification, two small boxes are enough to take off and land with a drone along with an attached camera on my gimbal.
