So here's a the info we have on the looped walks I talked about, I hope you find one you like and have a great hike!

1. 🥾 Dublin Mountains Way: Shankill - The Scalp Stage 🥾
• If you’re looking to get out of Dublin for a day, and want to use public transport, the first trail that comes to mind is stage 1 of the Dublin Mountains Way, from Shankill - The Scalp.

2. 🥾 Nore Valley Way 🥾

3. 🥾 Slieve Bloom Loops 🥾
• In the slieve blooms there are 6 trail heads, and from each trail head there are multiple possible loops. What I’m going to give here is a bit of an overview, and I cannot recommend the slieve blooms enough.

4. 🥾 Lough Key Forest Park 🥾
Carl and I first walked through Lough Key Forest Park as part of the Miner’s Way and Historical Trail. It’s possible to follow the Miner’s Way waymarking out of Boyle and walk to the forest park (about 5km), or there’s paid parking at the park. This area is beautiful, and much more of an easy day stroll than an intense hike, so might be more suitable for people looking for family friendly options.

5. 🥾 Tinahely Trails 🥾
• Walked through here on the Wicklow Way!
• The Tinahely Loop: Distance: 25km. Ascent: 350m. Walking Time: 5-6 hours.
• Kyle Loop: Distance: 20km. Ascent: 500m. Walking Time: 5-6 hours.
• Ballycumber Loop: Distance: 14km. Ascent: 400m. Walking Time: 4-5 hours.
• Mangans Loop: Distance: 9km. Ascent: 300m. Walking Time: 2.5- 3 hours.

6. 🥾 Arranmore Island 🥾
• Distance: 14km
• Walked it in between Sli na Finne and Sli na Rosann.
• 1 of 3 islands to walk - The names of these three are Tory, Gola, and Arranmore.
