Each country has its currency symbol to indicate that country’s specific legal tender. A currency symbol makes it easier to mark the prices of goods and services. It is a graphic symbol used as a shorthand for a currency's name. For a new symbol to be used, its glyphs needs to be added to computer fonts and keyboard mappings.
