Sokol International Racetrack Almaty (Assetto Corsa WIP)

Sokol International Racetrack, located on an area of more than 205 hectares in the Ili district of the Almaty region of the Republic of Kazakhstan (76th kilometer of the Almaty-Astana highway).

The Sokol circuit was designed by the legendary German racing track designer Hermann Tilke in 2013, active construction began in 2014, but after 2016 it was suspended - the attention of the owners of the circuit switched to the completion of the karting and drag-rating track.

The unique circuit will be the first professional sports and technical complex in Kazakhstan. Competitions of national and international level will be held on the territory of the Sokol Racetrack, on its basis it is planned to work sections of republican significance in karting and other technical sports, children's and adult auto-sports clubs, as well as schools for improving driving skills.

Automobile, highway-ring and motorcycle racing, drifting, drag racing, karting are very exciting activities, for the sake of such pleasure, many people are ready to go anywhere, even to far abroad. There is not yet a single professional circuit in Kazakhstan, a specially equipped complex with the appropriate infrastructure where sports races can be held. So far, all our professional racers and amateurs are forced to travel to the racetracks of Russia and abroad.

There will be ring tracks for auto racing, motocross, karting competitions, drift and drag racing on the site of the Sokol Racetrack. The complex will allow holding international competitions of the highest class. In addition to highway and ring roads, there will be facilities for educational, specialized, emergency driving, comfortable stands, hotels, a number of technical and economic facilities. The track will become the center of motor sports of the whole Kazakhstan.

The main goal of the Sokol circuit creation project is to promote the development of extreme, motor, technical sports in Kazakhstan. In addition to the sports component, the complex will contribute to the training of professional and technical personnel, the promotion of road safety, the organization of leisure and recreation for residents of all Kazakhstan.
