Shantipur, Dhaniakhali, Begampur, and Farasdanga are the main cotton weaving centres in West Bengal which are involved in the weaving of fine-textured saris and dhotis. The saris of Begampur have deep and bright colours.
Begampur also produces the gorgeous jamdani saris.
