First step of the rebuild of the transformer is solving an issue with the power supply. I had not enough voltage available to build the amp properly in the first place, and even used a back to back transformer configuration to create the high voltage. This time I'll implement an external transformer, that can be used universally on several smaller amps in the future as well.

Please note: I tried out my new microphone in this video, and since I haven't used a stationary one before I was very quiet some times (used a headset mic before). I had to amplify the signal quite a bit, to make it audible. Therefore, some parts where I was concentrated were too silent to be heard properly, therefore I had to cut them out.
What you missed was, that it seems like I have ripped off a connection on the primary of the transformer, resulting in it not working. So I had to take it apart again, fix the winding and reinstall it. nothing too interesting, but I talked a bit about lacing wire looms, which might have been interesting. Please let me know if a seperate video about that is interesting, I might make one than.
