As anyone who watches my channel will know I like to give, 'shout outs', to other channels on Yotube. I particularly like to shine a spotlight on Northern Irish people who are doing extraordinary things on Yutube.

Today I want to shine a spotlight on the remarkable, Oversimplified, Youtube Channel!
Created by the two Webster brothers, Ian and Stuart, who grew up in Lisburn Co Down, the OverSimplified channel has just been honoured at the 'Oscars of the Internet', -the 29th Annual Webby Awards in New York. This star studded ceremoney honours top innovators and visionary creators who have pushed the boundaries yet again. Their Webby Award for People's Voice Award for Education, nomination received the largest amount of votes out of any nomination at the awards. What a triumph!

OverSimplified’s videos blend history, humour and animation - tackling topics like World War II, the Cold War, and the Russian Revolution in a way that’s accessible and entertaining.
Unbelievably what started as a side hustle for the clever brothers has turned into the most popular history channel on YouTube, amassing over 1 billion views and 9 million subscribers.
Some single videos are hitting 30+ 40+ and even 50+ million views!!!

Ian and Stuart say the plan for the future is to keep creating the same high-quality content that has become so loved around the world.
