Kaldurga fort is hill type fort and is located in Palghar taluka, of Palghar District. The height of this fort is about 1550 feet. The fort range is Palghar range contains many hill forts and Kaldurg is one of them.If you are looking for thrill of trek in Monsoon, Kaaldurg is one of the best. It's located on Palghar to Manor road. There is parking space at Waghoba Temple from where the trek can be started. There is really nothing like fort on the top just remains of structure. It takes around 90 mins to reach the top. During Monsoon the entire path is slippery and full of insects. Wearing full body covering clothes is advised. Keep your back pack as light as possible. While it's raining, the path may have little stream of water and logged water in the path where we may get confused for pot or sharp rocks. There are always group of guys and gals from surrounding area on weekends. There are no shops around just a little one near the temple. You are advised to carry ample water and snacks. There are lots of monkeys at the base near temple so don't open any snacks in front of them, they will flock you before you look up.
The view is classy, mesmerizing and soothing. People who like nature trails this place will certainly not disappoint you.
