Why Does Fender Do This? - Staggered vs Flat Pole Pieces on a Strat

Описание к видео Why Does Fender Do This? - Staggered vs Flat Pole Pieces on a Strat

If any electric guitar should sound amazing from the factory it should be this 1996 Fender Custom Shop Relic Stratocaster. After a cleaning and setup, it played great, but something sounded a little "off."

Certain notes jumped out in an unpleasant way. Adjusting the vintage-spec pickups with their staggered poles didn't solve the problem.

Since the owner had already purchased a set of Lindy Fralin Vintage Hot Strat pickups with hybrid staggered pole pieces, it was a no-brainer to see if that fixed the problem.
