Lacy Van-Zant is the Father of Southern Rock & Roll, and passed away August 3, 2004 at the age of 89. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 53 years, Marion Van Zant. Lacy and Marion are the parents of Ronnie Van-Zant, Joanne Morris Van-Zant, Donald Van-Zant, Darlene Grant, Marlene Hodge, and Johnny Van-Zant.

Tammy Michelle is the first child of Ronnie Van Zant (born 30 July 1967 - mother is Nadine Inscoe) and sadly passed away on 11 July 2022 at the age of 54. Tammy was also an amazing musical artist; just like her father. You can listen to her album here:
