When To Open An LLC For Your Shopify Store (Taxes)

This is a question I get asked all the time, and it's a good one. If you are starting a business, when should you form a legal company (LLC)? Well, fore commerce I always recommend that you do it once you have some consistent revenue coming in.

At the end of the day, many many businesses fail, and since this business is online, you don't necessarily need an LLC right away to start it.

I would get your Shopify sales coming in, be successful with your marketing and getting customers, THEN file an LLC.

The LLC will help you with better taxes and being able to write-off your business expenses
