I'm using an internally-mounted Victron 50 amp charge controller for this test. It was later converted to an external setup.

This ac has 0 startup surge. On the low setting this ac uses 120-200 watts. (ramping up to 660 on full blast and can run anywhere in between) It's feasible to run on a small solar setup through not really practical. A setup double or triple this size would be better. If this ac were placed in a small room on a clear sunny day, it could feasibly keep it cool running only solar (once room is brought down to temp)
