LRTS Diesel-Electric Train - Bricklink Designer Program Series 5 Entry

Presenting: LRTS Diesel-Electric Switcher Train no.1088

This train design is based on a SW1200 diesel road switcher from the late 1950s, featuring a gorgeous sand green train body and complemented with black roofs and a black undercarriage. I also left a stripe of pearl gold running down the side of the locomotive.

The L-R-T-S logo is inspired by the iconic Emerald Night train set.

Overall, the design includes the diesel locomotive, a display base, and 1 minifigure (“Old Man Harry”).

When designing this train set, it was important for me to create something that would look amazing on display but could also be easily motorized. As such, this set is compatible with the Powered Up system. The body was designed to have enough space in the interior for a battery hub, and a section of the roof can be easily removed for quick access.

-A total of 817 pieces, 4 stickers, 1 minifigure
-Locomotive is 38 studs long (approximately 1-48 scale)
