【26型護衛艦】單艘造價10億英鎊，滿載排水8000噸戰鬥力堪比驅逐艦，能否成為世界最強護衛艦

26型護衛艦（英文：Type-26 frigates ，又稱：Global Combat Ship-GCS，譯文：全球戰鬥艦），是21世紀初英國國防部為英國皇家海軍定購和設計建造的新型護衛艦。
該型艦是用來取代22型護衛艦、23型護衛艦的新型水面艦艇，這是英國從20世紀90年代中期啟動FSC相關計劃以來的實質性、突破性的進展，意味著皇家海軍22/23型等骨乾水面艦隊的替換終於能付諸實施。 26型護衛艦歷時18個月進行計劃評估（AOO），英國國防部與BAE防務公司分析比較了多達五十餘種設計方案，選擇最佳軍艦構型後進入詳細設計階段。
26型護衛艦尚在研製中，首艦預定在2020年左右服役。
