Oldest Pub in Kent, The Yew Tree, Westbere Village, Kent, UK

The Inn, not far from Canterbury, was built in 1348 and it's the oldest pub in Kent. With over 650 years of history to boast if the walls could talk there would be many stories to tell. Queen Anne and the Archbishop of Canterbury are reputed to have stayed, and even pub frequenting Dick Turpin evaded capture from the law by hiding out here . The building was also used as a hospital to treat wounded soldiers during the civil war and unsurprisingly two Ghosts live here, though they prefer to remain in the background.
