This is laptop reviewed: ASUS Vivobook 15 Notebook 15.6 FHD Display AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 16GB RAM 1TB SSD

THE POSITIVES

1 of the two DDR4 Sodimm Slots is upgradeable, so technically you can upgrade to 40gb of Ram, so if it's for server PC it works great.

USB C port Accepts Charge of Laptop, so you can use ANY USB C 65watt power brick to charge it, probably even 45w is fine.
Full sized keyboard
Decent cooling solution, possibly has intake from side also instead of just bottom, maybe intake or exhaust
7730U processor is super power efficient, and does 4000 hashes on Monero XMRIG mining at low wattage, idles as low as 9 watts with screen on, perhaps maybe as low as 5 watts
May make great server PC
Speakers sound decent and some music I played back on it I was happy with.
The screws are regular philips head so easy to get in there and chassis pops right off.
Backlit keyboard, see it in the dark

THE NEGATIVES

The screen is what looks to me a TN panel so viewing angles leave a lot to be desired.
Screen is NOT TOUCH Screen
There is LATCH for battery that can lead you to short out your board, I don't think I shorted it out or broke anything, but the cable doesn't stay in place without the clip, I fixed it hopefully by putting paint on insulation for electrical appliances. SO BE CAREFUL on UPGRADE and disconnecting the battery, perhaps trick is to paint on liquid isulation tape Then the question becomes how do you put the clip back on if you already put it on, SO POOR DESIGN. You may need to upgrade without disconnecting the battery.

THE TAKEAWAY:

So if upgradeability is what you are looking for, go for the DELL, if WORKING WITH LINUX out the BOX , go for DELL, if you want a better Screen with TOUCH GO for the DELL, Search my Youtube for other 7730U which have also more premium options, that do have soldered ram so leave no upgradeability on the Ram, BUT may have TOUCH Screen which other laptops have and BACKLIGHT keyboards which are awesome also.
