Starting in 1922, the Our Gang shorts (also known as The Little Rascals) were an iconic part of the early days of film. One of the many child stars of the series was Billy Laughlin, who played the raspy-voiced Froggy. Laughlin made his first appearance in 1940, and while the series only lasted a few more years after that, he still managed to make a name for himself.
