This is my speed build of the Ultimate Collector's Millennium Falcon Lego set 10179 (This is the Lepin replica 05033). As far as I know, 9 hours is the fastest that I have seen anyone else build it on YouTube so far, so my sub 8 hour build shaved off about an hour of time due to my sorting method. Knowing what I know now about building the set, I'm sure I could take that even lower if I were to dismantle and build it again. I purchased the set off of Aliexpress, and was very satisfied with the shipping time, as well as the communication from the seller. There were only a few missing pieces which I was able to replace with my own Legos that I already had on hand, and the seller was willing to send me replacement pieces for the ones that were missing. I have wanted to build this set for years, but couldn't afford it back when it first released, and couldn't purchase the overly inflated Lego sets now. I understand people not wanting to support knockoff brands like Lepin, but there would literally have been no other way I would have gotten to experience building this incredible kit any other way.

I have seen many other speed builds on YouTube, so I wanted to try and make one that was a little unique by adding the top down view as well, so that people could see the pieces being sorted out and then being put together, while simultaneously watching the ship slowly be pieced together.

My cat Kira tried to 'help' as well.

I used a free app called TimeMovie for the Timelapse, and it was excellent at giving me some base footage to work with. I hand counted and sorted each piece before beginning the build, which drastically reduced the amount of time the construction took. I stored the pieces in two Akro-Mils storage containers, and a couple Sterilite drawers which made this speed build possible. I also printed off and cut out pictures of each individual piece so that I could tape them to the drawers for quick visual indication of what was in each drawer. This saved an otherwise huge footprint that the pieces would have taken up.
