Thibaut Courtois was the hero in Charlotte, scoring the winning penalty and saving two of PSG’s in the shoot-out following an exciting 1-1 draw in normal time.

Courtois replaced Begovic at half-time and was afforded 45 minutes. Thibaut Courtois scored from the spot to seal a 6-5 win in the penalty shootout.

Thibaut Nicolas Marc Courtois is a Belgian professional footballer who plays for English club Chelsea and the Belgium national team as a goalkeeper.

Despite his young age, Courtois is widely regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the world, and he won the 2012–13 and 2013–14 Ricardo Zamora Trophies while on loan at Atlético Madrid.

Courtois made his senior international debut in 2011. He has earned over 30 caps and played for Belgium at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
