Sabaku is a song from our album Joy. This Japanese-language song is a tribute to the legendary composers of Nintendo, whose music we love.
The lyrics of the song tell the story of a long-lost civilization, with ancient treasures buried beneath the sands and carried away by the desert winds.

While recording this song, our engineer Derek, who usually stays pretty neutral and supportive, suggested Nina to go home and up her Japaneese game. Which she did. So what you'll hear is her second try to get the Japaneese lyrics right. Tell us what you think :).
