'Sometimes I forget how emotional these songs can be' Prince stated at the end of this video concluding the final time he performed the Joni Mitchell classic song from her 1971 album Blue 'A Case of You'. Here you will see Prince perform it live from 1983 (on guitar), Joni Mitchell perform it Live in 1983 then hear Prince's final performance of this song in Atlanta 2016. It's clear Joni Mitchell and her unique voice and incomparable lyrics were a fascination for Prince through out his lifetime (even releasing it on One Night Alone) and his love of this one song appeared in many of Prince's performances through the years. It's comforting to know that Joni still remains a musical icon and although living a relatively recluse life style continues to write and occasionally perform.
