On June 17, 2010, A massive & historical tornado outbreak would occur across the upper-midwestern US. As a part of the outbreak, countless significant and even violent tornadoes would be confirmed. Of these was an EF3-rated twister, which is a classification only given 3 others times that day. This specific twister struck the outskirts of Hallandale, Minnesota in the late afternoon-night. But, due to the active tornado season and subsequent outbreak, this tornado has been relatively forgotten by many, leaving it remembered mostly by locals alone. Not only this, but the tornado did cause significant damage as well. Unfortunately, since the tornado happened in a rural area during sundown, video of this tornado is somewhat rare. So, when I recently discovered this incredible footage of the tornado tearing rapidly intensifying outside of town, I was eager to share. The whole tornado, and even its brief twin can all be seen in this video. It was shared to facebook by the videographer Corey Ermer. This footage is extremely rare, so I do hope you all enjoy!
