The U.S. Marine Corps' Marine Rotational Force-Southeast Asia and 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force's Amphibious Rapid Deployment Brigade, Republic of Korea Marine Corps' Special Reconnaissance Battalion, and Philippine Marine Corps' 4th Marine Brigade are conducting Combat Rubber Raiding Craft (CRRC) training during exercise KAMANDAG 8/2024 from Oct. 15-25 in the Philippines.

KAMANDAG is an annual Philippine and U.S. Marine Corps-led exercise aimed at enhancing the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ defense and humanitarian capabilities by providing valuable training in combined operations with foreign militaries in the advancement of a Free and Open Indo-Pacific.

This year's exercise includes participation from the U.S. Marine Corps, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, Republic of Korea Marine Corps, British Armed Forces, Australian Defence Force, and French Armed Forces, with the Royal Thai Marine Corps and Indonesian Marine Corps joining as observers.
