This summer, teens from Front Porch Alliance's Youth Journeys "Reel Collectors" program directed, filmed, and produced a short documentary spotlighting one of Kansas City's gems: Ruby Jean's Juicery (@rubyjeansjuicery).
Hear from owner & CEO Chris Goode as he shares the inspiring 10-year journey behind the brand. Ruby Jean's is on a mission to make healthy living accessible and enjoyable through delicious cold-pressed juices, nutritious food, and vibrant community spaces — all in honor of Chris’s late grandmother, Ruby Jean.
Guided by local filmmakers Gregory Pearl (@iCaptureKC) and Amera Haniyeah, teens spent the summer biking through KC neighborhoods, learning the ins and outs of filmmaking — from interviewing to editing.
