MEGANE 4RS SERIOUS POWER OVERHAUL | KTR VALVED CATBACK EXHAUST

In this video, the KTR Renault Megane 4RS track car gets a full power overhaul ahead or Forge Action Day.

As we are planning on taking this car out on track days in 2023, we wanted to add a few modifications to improve handling, increase power and upgrade drivability, and it's safe to say we ticked all those boxes!

This has been achieved by using the very latest design of internally turbulated cooling tube, allowing far superior airflow characteristics and improved internal volume. Using this proven tube and fin design which ensures lower thermal mass, lighter weight and fast recovery temperatures. This is currently the highest capacity intercooler available and requires no drilling, cutting or alteration to the standard car.

ℹ️ The lower spring platforms are adjustable. This allows the car to be set up for corner weighting to achieve perfect balance and ensures that maximum tyre efficiency is achieved. Ride height is determined by the position of the coilover bottom cup mount, making them independently height adjustable. The mount can be wound up and down the damper body to give a full range of adjustment from near standard ride height to very, very low.

ℹ️ As with all our lines they use a plastic coated stainless steel braid with full stainless steel fittings for added durability and performance. They are a direct replacement for the original rubber hoses and come with our lifetime warranty. The lines will give a better, stronger pedal feel which gives great confidence, especially on the the track, making these a very worthwhile upgrade.

ℹ️ The Trophy features a valved system as standard and our system has been designed and tested to not only perform better but give the car a much improved exhaust note once the valve is in the open position. In the closed position the exhaust gases are diverted through the rear silencer for a refined exhaust note, once the valve is open the gasses are free to by pass the silencer and the car comes to life.

ℹ️ It is made from 3" bore stainless steel and it is a direct replacement for the original restrictive catalytic converter. Once fitted you will find that boost builds quicker and the car pulls much harder through the rev range and the exhaust note also takes on a more purposeful growl which sounds superb.
