Product Info: With the sheer volume of toys on store shelves on Force Friday, many are wondering if there are any special figures for collectors? Well, Disney, the supreme leader of the Star Wars franchise is saving one of the best lines for its signature stores

Enter Star Wars: The Last Jedi Elite Series Die Cast action figures. This assortment of 6-inch-scale figures is highly detailed, fully articulated for infinite poseability and all-around beautiful. The boxes are nice, solid square packages with a window that lets you see almost the full figure. These packages are great for stacking, if you prefer to keep your figures in package and on shelf.

Once open, the figures are a metal and plastic hybrid. The plastic is minimal so therefore bearable. It's essentially there to make sure the paint doesn't chip when you're moving legs, arms and wrists or gripping weapons.

These figures are beautiful and among the best sculpts available so far for The Last Jedi.

Starting with the light side of the Force, Rey is in the outfit she wore in the trailer, and she comes with a blaster, staff and lightsaber. She also has a holster to place her blaster when she's lightsabering, which should be always.

Luke Skywalker is wearing his Jedi robes and comes with a non-removeable walking stick. This figure features an excellent sculpt of Mark Hamill.

To accompany Luke, R2D2 makes an appearance. He's gorgeous, and while he's limited in movement - only his legs move - this is a great version of this character.

On the Dark Side, Kylo Ren comes with his lightsaber, a removeable plastic cloak, his traditional scowl and his new signature scar.

The most talked about characters that we don't know much about are the Elite Praetorian Guards. This one comes with two blades, and you get a very good look at his robed outfit.


While these figures are age graded for 3 years and up, they are definitely not kiddie toys. They're solid metal, heavy and meant for collectors. Kids can play with them, but they may become frustrated if these figures start falling over, and that's something that often happens with die cast lines. They also might not like the fact that these figures are very heavy. Let's just leave these to the collectors who will appreciate the level of detail and design in each of these toys.
