December 22, 1990 - Believe it or not, you're watching a 35-year-old Jack Sikma cranking out this performance in his final year in the NBA. Sikma, alongside the likes of Bill Laimbeer, carved out a niche later in his professional career as one of the first centers to establish himself as a legitimate long range threat. In 1989, he finished 12th in the NBA in 3-pointers made (82) when only three others centers even finished in the top 100 (Laimbeer - 45th, Manute Bol - 62nd, Scott Hastings - 93rd).

In the contest above against the Spurs, all six of Sikma's 3-pointers came in the second half, helping the Bucks outscore San Antonio 57-41 after intermission in a 114-98 win. In all, Sikma finished with a season-high 29 points, connecting on a career-high six 3-pointers (on eight attempts), tying the Bucks' single game record while doing the lion's share of the work in helping Milwaukee set a new team record for 3-pointers in a single game as well (nine).

Drafted eighth overall by the Seattle SuperSonics in 1977, Sikma helped propel the Sonics to back-to-back Finals appearances and the franchise's only NBA championship. A seven-time all-star, Sikma was elected to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2019.
