Kathy has MND (ALS), her partner Paul is her primary caregiver. They were at the stage of requiring a hoist, but a mobile hoist wasn't going to work in their space and ceiling hoist renovations were an expensive and lengthy process. Also, requiring the extra caregivers coming in to help with hoisting complicated their independent lifestyle. Kathy found the Kera sit2sit online, and luckily it was manufactured just down the road.
