Borivali - Thane Twin Tunnel Project | Maharashtra's Longest Tunnel

The tunnel king, Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Ltd (MEIL) has bagged the 11.84 km long Thane - Borivali twin tube road tunnel project in the state of Maharashtra. These tunnels will be built using tunnel boring machines at a maximum depth of 23 meters at reduced surface level.

The route between Thane and Borivali always faces heavy traffic congestion. Once this road tunnel project is ready it will resolve the traffic woes of commuters and significantly reduce the travel time between Thane and Borivali.
