Gran Turismo 2 - Playthrough Part 31 - Rome Endurance Race

Gran Turismo 7 is expected to come out at some point in 2022 for PS5, so I want to try to do a full playthrough of all the previous Gran Turismo games until then. Here you can see me completing the Rome endurance race in the simulation mode of Gran Turismo 2.

Gran Turismo has always been one of my favorite racing game franchises and I played the first 3 games of the series when they first came out. After that I moved to PC though, so I never got to play GT 4-6. Before GT7 I want to try to revisit GT 1-3 and also play through GT 4-6 for the first time. I am not sure if I will manage to get all of it done but I will see how far I can get.

Time for another endurance race in GT2 on my way to 100% completion!

The Rome endurance race is the longest in the game at a duration of 2 hours and the opponents are using top tier race cars, so I also went with one of those by picking the epic Toyota GT-One from 1998.

I don't recommend watching the full race, since all of the laps are pretty similar. I want to upload my full playthrough though, so I will upload the full endurance races as well.

As a reward car I got the Toyota Altezza LM Edition. The other possible prize would have been a Corolla Rally Car.

Now I have completed all 7 endurance races in Gran Turismo 2 after a total race time of about 10 hours.

In the next GT2 video I will start with the Rally events.
