Original facebook post description: *PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU CAN* This is part of what my dashcam picked up from the hit and run accident I was involved in on 3/13/18 on 385 South just as I was passing the Woodruff Road exit. The vehicle that hit me then fled the scene can be seen at the end of the video before my camera went flying before I hit the barriers multiple times and lost control of the vehicle for approximately 200 yds. Please if you see this gold/champagne colored BMW, appears to be a 3 series, with a yellow paper tag with red lettering on it, help me by contacting the SC Highway Patrol to assist in their investigation. The vehicle will have passenger side damage on the rear of the vehicle above the tire with black paint streaks accross the side. The driver was a young, African American male, approximately in his 20s. Any information about this vehicle or the driver would be of great help to me due the extensive damage to my vehicle and injuries I am currently enduring as a result. I suffered a concussion from the initial hit when my head hit the plastic divider where you can adjust your seatbelt up and down. I also hit my head on the roof of the car. My knee hit the steering wheel adjusting knob, which made the steering wheel column telescope in/out and up/down. That caused me to damage my right hand and arm trying to control the car by keeping the steering wheel steady. My neck and back are extremely sore as well, as to be expected. When I finally came to a stop, I was facing oncoming traffic and slammed into the barriers which bruised and cut my entire left leg, foot, and arm. The witnesses who stopped, thought I was dead or more seriously injured and ran down 385 to assist me. Due to the speed, the trooper said that I "was lucky to be alive". Oddly enough, my husband had just purchased me a dashcam the day before so I just installed it that morning before I left home for visits. I was alone in the car and I was spinning so fast that I was afraid I was hitting other cars and not just barriers. Thankfully, I did not hit any other cars because I was so afraid I had hurt someone else. It was just a blur as I was spinning and I almost flipped over when two wheels went up on the wall. I'm so afraid to even get in a car now, I don't know how I'll be able to do it when I get my rental next week.
