Your headwear will accomplish two goals while climbing Kilimanjaro: keep the sun off of you during the day and keep you warm and your visibility high at night. You’ll definitely need a sunhat and sunglasses during the day, and a beanie and headlamp at night. Make sure your glasses have high UV protection and that your headlamp has extra batteries.
