Pokemon Rage Glitch. Teach Pokemon ANY move in Generation IV (Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, SoulSilver) [No Action Replay used]

Also known as the Mimic Transform Rage Glitch. The glitch happens when a transformed Pokemon (whether it's a Ditto/Mew or any Pokémon capable of learning Transform via Mimic, Copycat, Assist or Metronome during a battle) uses up all the Rage PP during a battle, and then defeat the enemy Pokemon.

This allows the Pokemon to copy the moveset of the Pokemon that knew Rage, helping with Ditto knowing Egg Moves to pass down when paired with a female.

[STEPS for Pokemon with Mimic]
Get a Smeargle (or any Pokemon) with Rage and 3 moves you want your Mimic Pokemon to learn.
Enter a double battle starting with your Mimic Pokemon and a Ditto/Mew
Have Ditto/Mew transform into the enemy
Use Mimic on Ditto/Mew (If you're faster wait a turn, like in this video I take one enemy down)
Switch your Ditto/Mew to Smeargle and have your Mimic Pokemon Transform into it.
Waste the Rage PP on your Mimic Pokemon.
Have your Mimic Pokemon deliver the final attack and end the battle.
Your Mimic Pokemon will have the moveset that of Smeargle (In this video Roar of Time, Aeroblast, Shadow Force and Rage)
Experiment with other Pokemon that can know Mimic!

[STEPS for Ditto/Mew]
Get a Smeargle (or any Pokemon) with Rage and 3 moves you want your Ditto/Mew to learn.
Enter a double battle starting with your Smeargle and Ditto/Mew
Have Ditto/Mew transform into Smeargle
Use up the Rage PP, deliver the final attack with your Ditto/Mew.


You can teach Mimic in Emerald/Fire Red/Leaf Green versions as well as Pokemon XD, a one time use. But with the Emerald cloning glitch you'll never run out of Mimic Pokemon!
