One of my favorite drinks from Mexico is this cool and creamy Agua de Fresa con Leche! It combines fresh strawberries, evaporated milk for a touch of creaminess, and a touch of sugar. Served over ice, this thirst-quenching beverage is the perfect way to beat the heat.

Ingredients:

1 pound fresh strawberries (hulled)
1 can evaporated milk (12 oz)
½ cup condensed milk
6 cups water
Ice, for serving

Preparation:

Toss your fresh strawberries into a blender with 2 cups of water.
Blend on high for 1-2 minutes, until the strawberries are completely smooth. You can strain this mixture for a seedless drink, or skip this step if you prefer a little texture.

Add the evaporated milk and condensed milk to the blender (or pitcher if you strained).
Pour in the remaining water and give it a good stir to combine everything.
Taste the Agua de Fresa and adjust the sweetness to your liking. Add more condensed milk or a touch of sugar if needed.
Fill your glasses with ice and fresh strawberry slices.
Pour the refreshing Agua de Fresa con Leche over the ice and enjoy!
