Douro Valley Winery Tour & River Cruise | BEST Day Trip and Ultimate Guide from Porto, Portugal

My action packed journey through Portugal continues with a magical winery tour through the iconic Douro Valley! Just a 2 hour drive from the city of Porto is this sprawling and stunning wine region. The terraced wine farms stretch for miles and we even see the place where our tour guide was proposed to!

This was one of my favourite days in Portugal: I made new friends, learnt so much about the wines (especially Port of course!) and sailed down the Douro River on a boat. Bliss!
