The Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea National Park is the biggest
to be found between the North Cape and Sicily. This film shows the National Park Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea as it is: endless tidal flats, huge sand banks, extended saltmarshes and small islands -- inhabited by lots of animals but few people. It is an 12 minutes journey across Europes largest national park and world heritage site, which is visited by millions of tourists each year.

Seabed meets Horizon: The tidal flats between Den Helder in the The Wadden Sea in Schleswig-Holstein, Niedersachsen and the Netherlands was placed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2009.
