Changing spark plugs Jaguar X-type without removing intake (part 2)

This is the second part of the video about Jaguar X-type spark plug replacement and you will see how to change spark plugs on Jaguar X-type without removing the intake manifold. The manual is aimed to X-types with 2.1 engines only, due to a specific design of the intake manifold of this model. This video also describes Jaguar X-type ignition coil replacement without removing the intake manifold on the back side of 2.1 engine.

The tools necessary to replace the spark plugs on Jaguar X-type are a 16 mm socket, a ratchet with an extension and a universal joint. Ignition coils are secured with 8 mm bolts, so you will also need a smaller ratchet and an 8 mm socket. Long screwdrivers are used to plug and unplug the connectors of the coils.
