This year’s tour includes a special December lineup filled with festive tunes to get everyone in the holiday spirit. Following their standout performance at The Great British Folk Festival, their single "Wild Mountain Thyme" made it to the Heritage Charts Top 40 and will soon feature in the upcoming film Between Weathers.

On October 11th, The Houghton Weavers released their new single, “Spanish Lady,” featuring top-tier touring musicians joining the band.

Steve Millington, reflecting on nearly 30 years with the band, says, “I started with a Christmas tour, so these winter shows hold a special place in my heart. It’s been a pleasure creating music with original members and working alongside Jim both on stage and in the studio. This year, with world-class guest musicians, I’m excited to bring a fresh feel to each show!”

Jim Berry, a key member since 2017, reminisces about his early folk days and his journey from busking in France to joining The Houghton Weavers full-time. “I love sharing stories, singing, and even throwing in a corny joke here and there. It’s an honor to stand where my brother Tony once did.”

Expect classics like “Blackpool Belle” and “Dirty Old Town” along with new songs, ballads, and poems from the band. With plenty of laughs, festive tunes, and a spirit of fun, The Houghton Weavers promise an unforgettable night that will—true to their motto—Keep Folk Smiling!
