Here in this video we have shown a step by step process of making south indian Sambhar. It definitely tastes like a restaurant but is very healthy and easy to cook. Hope you enjoy this :)

Recipe:

1. In a cooker add 1 litres of water. Now add chopped ghiya, baingan, gobhi, onion, carrot and peas. Add half cup of soaked arhar daal and then add salt and turmeric. Give 3 whistles.

2. In a separate Kadhai add oil then add mustard seeds, dried red chilli, curry leaves, chopped garlic, ginger and chilli. Sauté it.
Then add one cup of chopped tomatoes.

3. Add salt, coriander powder, red chilli powder, and sambhar masala. Let it cook for 3-4 minutes.

4. Add the cooked vegetable mix and let it come to boiled. Add tamarind paste or purée. Serve hot!
