A genre-mashup of About a Boy meets What We Do In The Shadows, Vampire Weekend features a punk-rock vampire learning to reconnect with the world. Louise knows first-hand that vampire mythos is a lie. It's quite boring and lonely and doesn't involve glamour, speed, or flying, but the best part of it is the longevity, which she uses to see as many cool bands as she can. When Louise's estranged brother Stephen arrives at her door with his 12-year-old grandson Ian, everything changes; Ian needs her, and her music, to get him through a tough time.
