In this week’s interview, KTO founder & host, Arshan, sits down with Dina Ayada. This interview was filmed in New York City along with many other ones coming soon. In this interview, Arshan and Dina talk about a wide range of topics starting with where Dina is from. She’s an artist who was actually born in Belgium with parents from Morocco. She’s super good at marketing her music and always looks like she’s having fun within her content. Dina stands for love and happiness. Her favorite thing is when people listen to their music and feel better after the fact.
Arshan and Dina also talk about learning Arabic through the Quran growing up. Interestingly, Dina Ayada was on a show growing up where she sang a Wiz Khalifa song. She performed really well there which helped her get comfortable being on the big stage in the U.S. She watched a lot of XXXTentacion interviews growing up as well. Chucki Beats played a very important role in her career as well. Dina found success promoting her music on TikTok - being herself. A lot of people have probably seen the picture of Dina and Kanye West together. Dina was invited to Sunday Service when she was with Digital Nas. Kanye West isn’t the only legend she’s been with. Playboi Carti is another legendary artist she has crossed paths with multiple times. Meeting Carti is crazy. Arshan likens her music to R&B rap. Dina Ayada has cosigns from artists like KayCyy Midwxst, and Yung Kayo. She also talks about how she loves Destroy Lonley and Ken Carson. Doja Cat is an artist she really wants to work with specifically. She’s already been in the studio with Swae Lee after meeting him at Rolling Loud. Dina talks about the importance of building a relationship with the people you work with - similar to Ice Spice and Riot’s relationship of making hits. Dina and Arshan also talk about their fashion preferences and tastes. In the U.S people are wearing Rick Owens and Raf Simons and people in Belgium not wearing flashy stuff. Dina does not like colorful clothes. Arshan touches on the possibility of her walking at Fashion Week one day. Kids Take Over is based in Vancouver Canada.
