I have something a little different for our celebration this time.

Do you know how many people ask me to post more than once a day? LOL, whenever I receive such comments I just smile because I imagine some people are thinking I’m just some nun who lives in a cottage in some remote mountain and all I do is crush all day? And I have endless amounts of money to buy chalk and crush. Haha. So funny. But lowkey my dream life? No, not if I’m a nun 😬😬😬🥹😅!

Nonetheless I’ve decided to make that ‘imagination’ come true today for our joint YT and IG celebration by posting 3 treats today.

And it’s going to be an infusion of colour, particularly the black and brown palettes. It wasn’t me that said it - it was Beyoncé that said - BLACK (and brown) is KING so let’s give those palettes some spotlight today (I’ll also be attending the asmr carnival later today, whoop 🎉).

Let’s start the treats with an EXTREMELY DUSTY experience. Probably my dustiest mix. And guess where this mix came from? THE 50 DYED BLOCKS FOR 15k. Apparently the soft chalk, mixed with all that colour, mixed with my usual concoctions creates this unbreathable dusty mix. I LOVED every second of this crush. It was like I couldn’t even hold the stuff, they just disintegrated through my fingers on touch. Yum. And the crusts on top? Yummmm 🤤

Yesterday’s Mass was hard because the Gospel message was brutal. Essentially, Christ said to be His disciple we have to hate everyone - our family, our friends, even ourselves to be true disciples. I don’t know about you but for me, my family is my no1 in my life. But that’s just the problem isn’t it? Why is anyone or anything no1 apart from God? Without God would I even have my family. Time for a priority shuffle because I think what Christ was saying was simply just to put him first - and to love Him first above everything else. Nice in theory but in practice would I really? Above my family? The truth is… I don’t know… I can only pray for strength to do so if I ever had to choose. Better yet, I can only pray never to face such a dilemma.
