Mixing Concrete By Hand To Patch A Concrete Patio (Quikrete)

In this video I'm mixing concrete by hand to patch a 2' x 3' area I had to demo on a concrete pool deck patio. I had to saw the concrete to separate it from the good area, then I used a jackhammer to break it up into little pieces.
When the area was ready to re-pour new concrete, I drilled and pinned dowels into the existing concrete deck to connect both new and old concrete.
I used a wheelbarrow to mix the concrete in. I also used some Quikrete 5000 bag mix along with the recommended amount of water. I measured and added the water first, then dumped in the dry concrete mix. I used a regular hoe to mix the concrete to the desired texture and shoveled it into the open area. It took 3 bags of Quikrete 5000 along with a little Rapid Set Concrete mix to speed up the set time.
Once I had all the concrete mix where I needed it, I mag floated it smooth and applied a light broom finish to finish it off.
