In this video we'll take a look at the Confederate Spiller & Burr revolver. This is a .36 caliber cap and ball revolver that replicated the Whitney revolver for use by the Confederate Army during the Civil War. Because of shortages of iron in the Confederate States, the frame on the Spiller & Burr was made out of brass.

In the video I'll provide some back ground on this replica, which is built by Pietta and imported by Dixie Gun Works. I'll do some shooting and end the video by showing you how to dismount the cylinder for cleaning.
