Jan Vogler, Bill Murray and Friends Perform 'Woman' in the WQXR Studio

A fortuitous meeting on a flight to New York has produced the collaboration between world-renowned cellist Jan Vogler and world-famous actor Bill Murray.

They’ve got an album out together on Decca Gold called "New Worlds," which features music by everyone from J.S. Bach to Astor Piazzola, George Gershwin, Leonard Bernstein, Henry Mancini and Van Morrison. They’re also on tour and perform together at Carnegie Hall on Monday, Oct. 16, 2017.

Ahead of their big Carnegie show, Vogler and Murray, along with violinist Mira Wang and pianist Vanessa Perez, joined us in our studio to perform "Woman" from the Broadway musical "Zorba."
