Outriders - Devastator Ultimate Tank Support Build Complete!

Описание к видео Outriders - Devastator Ultimate Tank Support Build Complete!

It took a lot of time playing around. And let me tell you switching tremor out for Boulderdash (to any that saw previous videos of this build) didn’t even help my dps much but I think it does help my tanking more.

Tremor never did any damage. It was just to heal off mobs and look cool if I’m honest. But it also, unlike boulderdash, didn’t interrupt my shooting meaning the mods on my guns were activating more frequently. That’s why I’ve seen no dps increase actually because boulderdash isn’t that strong for base damage to make up for lost gun mod damage.

BUT..when it’s cool down is maxed (without using Deathproof) it’s actually much better for tanking. It has a 4 second cool down and gives me golem mode for 1-2 seconds and gives me some extra movement. Also, it activates my skill leech healing to a decent degree thanks to its much higher damage than tremor still.

Consequently, boulderdash is just as good at tanking as tremor in mobs yet better than it when I don’t have mobs around me because just using it and hitting one guy still gives me better heals and durability than tremor ever did. I also could max kinetic cool down so gravity leap has an even less cool down to further help both tanking (heals me max from just one hit thanks to Life Absorption) and damage.

So with that I think this build is the best tank dev and best support dev in game I’ve seen thus far. Boulderdash when low cool down on a max health and base regen and skill leech character is a very good means of staying alive. Better than tremor and reflect bullets has never been a viable skill for staying alive in most late game battling (especially against creature swarms).

Also it finally gave me a means of making use of skill leech. Honestly I couldn’t figure out a viable third variant on my armor pieces for the dev. Bleed is only useful regen from skill leech on the dev if you increase its damage a lot which requires going seismic and being less tanky if your goal is to be the ultimate tank (of course seismic devs are still tanky but never as much just because their much lower health bars still mean they’re always more risky at dying fast in bad situations like unavoidable stun locks).

Meanwhile gravity leap doesn’t NEED skill leech because it’s life absorption mod with increased damage alone is sufficient to heal you back to full with one hit!

Btw that’s also why gravity leap is my third tank focused skill too. Also why I maxed kinetic skill cool downs in my tree. I’m really impressed I was able to pick up almost all health and base health regen nodes while still getting every kinetic cool down node helping both my damage (especially with Despair mod on gravity leaps) and tanking.

Anyway boulderdash has a low cool down, activates skill leech healing of which I still carry a lot in this build, and gives me golem mode and fast movement for a shirt period.

I don’t think I need explain gravity leap’s importance anymore so I’ll move to Golem which also is mostly self explanatory.

What you may have noticed, though, is I was able to also max it’s duration and cool down too. With a 11.6 cool down and 19.2 duration I effectively have golem on me for about 2/3 the time of entire missions! That alone is all I need. Gravity leap, boulderdash, and weapon leech on my gun is really just designed to keep me up just long enough for another golem activation. Frankly I notice I don’t even need golem to tank anything most of the time but having it is just overkill and more importantly to create the “support” side of this ultra tank!

So you’ll note I have golem squad mod. Maxing my cool down and duration of golem not only is overkill tanking for myself but my whole team too! My teammates have golem protection on them as well for effectively HALF the time of every expedition!

Finally by maxing my grav leap cool down I max the despair mod’s utilization which not only helps my damage but my teammates on any enemy we join in fighting together. So I also provide good debuff capabilities too.

And finally I have plenty of just base health regen thanks to nearly maxing my health on this build too. And I choose to use an epic LMG with weapon and skill leech on it for the last icing on the cake. I barely shoot my guns anyway on this build which is also why I use a moaning winds secondary.

So how much damage overall do I still do? Well you see I kill Yaagak pretty quickly. My tank but better dps pyro takes him down in 1:30 so doing 2:15 on this guy is still very impressive. I can clear Frontline in 11 minutes which is a comfortable gold rank from before.
