Stevens Pass | Seventh Heaven + Ski down Bobby Chute

Описание к видео Stevens Pass | Seventh Heaven + Ski down Bobby Chute

Seventh Heaven is a Riblet Double, with center pole chairs. It is one of the steepest lifts I have ever ridden, with a slope length of 1,000 feet, and a vertical rise of 437 feet. This lift had an accident in 2020, involving tower 1, where the sheave assemblies on the light side of the lift broke. Since then, Seventh Heaven has had lifting frames added to towers 5-8. Tower 3 doesn't have any sheaves on it, and really only provides extra support to tower 2. To bee able to lap terrain on Seventh Heaven, one must take their skis or snowboard off, and hike a short stretch up to a high point, where there is a sign with information of the trails. This video is an uncut version of the ride up, hike up, and ski down. Snow conditions were very good on Seventh Heaven, and I recorded a video of getting first tracks up there. Sorry for the low camera angle, I have a new mounting position, and again Seventh Heaven is one of the steepest lifts I have ever ridden.

Recorded on March 21st, 2021
